Animal Aide
Our Featured Pet...
We would like to thank the hundreds of adopters, volunteers, and supporters who make it possible for us to save hundreds of homeless cats and dogs. As we go into a new year, we think of those we could not save, animal lives lost due to human ignorance and negect. We will never forget those lost lives, and are even more determined as we go into the new year.
Our wish for year 2008? More foster homes!
We do not have a shelter or facility for our rescue dogs. The dogs' lives depend on us finding foster homes, people will care for a rescue dog until an adoptive home can be found. Can you be a foster home for a homeless dog? We provide the vet care and dog food. You provide the trust and love.
We do not have our own facility to shelter abandoned dogs. Please help if you can, even if it is for a short time. You can save a pound dog's life. Please call us today. 519-633-6226. Thank you.

How do you find the right dog for you and your family? We work closely with you to help you answer any questions you may have. Every dog, regardless of breed, age, and health all have their own personalities and quirks. We help by asking you lots of questions and then match the right dog with the right home environment. And, if we will support and work with you after adoption. If you have concerns or questions, we will help you, even after the adoption is finalized. Please print off our pet list and let others know about the work that we do and the wonderful dogs that are available for adoption.
Who We Are
We are a small group of volunteers who work hard to rescue and
re-home abandoned and unwanted dogs from pounds and shelters. None of us are paid for what we do. We do it because it is the right thing to do. Since we are volunteers with very demanding challenges, our time can often be short. Please be patient if we are unable to quickly return your phone calls. Email is best. If you do not hear back from us, please try again. We return all inquires.
Adopting a friend
The adoption fees for dogs start at $295.00 for dogs, and includes spay/neuter/vaccines/heartworm test/parasite treatment and any other vet care that was necessary. The adoption fees do not cover all the vet costs we provide the rescue dog, but it helps. We have to fundraise to pay the rest of our expenses that adoption fees do not cover.
Come Visit Us!
The rescue dogs do not have their own facility. They are sheltered and cared for at foster homes and boarding kennels. If you are not sure where to meet one of our rescue dogs, just email loisjackson@sympatico.ca.
